Glad your dad is doing better today. I also understand about taking care of someone with dementia. My wife has it for quite some time now. Its hard to see and also hard not be able to work.

Canadian border VT that's horrible to hear all that your dealing with regarding your Dad.

I'd imagine that he has some sort of monitor to let others know if his blood sugar is out of whack?

So sorry to hear that. Sorry that you have to experience that too. I was the manager of a dementia unit. I really know what you are going through. My brother in-law's wife is in a facility just 3 miles up the road from us. Problem is that no visitation except virtual or outside. (only the husband allowed for in person visits.) My cousins wife is at home, but severely demented. Now on home care hospice. The one thing I can tell you is to make sure you take care of yourself. There are support groups. Usually has a licensed leader. Member are mostly all relatives. of a person with dementia. Loss and guilt are the often the feelings that needs help. Sometimes there legal questions that need direction.

I can't find production numbers for that generation, but I'm thinking the seller means rare as in you don't see all that many left, especially in excellent condition, nowadays. Which is true. But no, they aren't like a 1 of 400 corvette or anything.

You might think that, but besides vehicle weight, fuel tank capacity, and 1.5 liter's more displacement, there really wasn't much that that Yukon had specs wise over my Audi. ;). The Audi ate tires though, 30k from tires is all you'd get even rotating regularly. Repairs on it were not bad, what little there was that needed to be done.
My Audi had nearly as much ground clearance as that Yukon, if I pressed a button, or as little as like 4.5". 40v dohc v8, could probably tow as much as that short WB Yukon., Definitely was quicker and faster, and made more power and got better mpg. Plus, much better build quality and they didn't rust like those GM's did. ;) That thing was the Swiss army knife of cars.

They made lots of those. It’s no more than a standard Yukon of the day. End of the era of 2 door swb ones. Basically Z71 suspension and skid plate package. The GT was nothing special. Wife owned one back in the day. She’s owned blazers since 93, that was the only full size until this one.

Exactly. Nothing special. They just didn't sell as well as the ubiquitous 4 door Tahoe's / yukons of the day.
