Did you think of putting wheels under it? It sure is a neat looking house/cabinet.

 

It's even easier and cleaner if you use one of those oil suction through the dipstick things. Works great on our VW with the filter on top like the Subaru. You can change the oil and filter while wearing a suit.

 

Thanks! Honestly I didn't, and I was running out of time so I wouldn't hage been able to anyway. Started Christmas gifts weeks early thinking I'd have lots of time, still ended up having to rush to finish them.

Made the decision today, my father needs more care with his loss of memory than we can provide. Will wait until one 8 miles up road has opening. So we can still get him for weekends and enjoy time with him.

 

Sorry to hear Canadian border VT . I know it's a tough decision to make. We had to put my grandmother in a home this summer for other health and age related problems and I know it was weighing on my parents/ aunts and uncles for quite some time. I hope your dad gets the care he needs

Feel like I've gotten fat, soft, and lazy over the past several months. Doing a 90 day challenge to fix some of that.

No TV.
No sugar.
No alcohol.
No eating between meals.
Intermittent fasting every day (16 hours no food, 8 hours eating).
No meat twice a week.
Intense excercise every day.

Cutting out a lot of phone time too so I won't be in here near as much either.

I'm on day 5. Hard, but not as hard as I thought it might be. Already seeing positive changes.

 

damm...Good Luck, that would send my body into shock!! Although I have been tossing around the idea of cutting back on my beer consumption!!

 

I don't believe I could go 9 days without beer. I'd hurt someone real bad here at work. Good luck to you.

 

You have the best care for your father in mind. The right decision takes a while to get to and is hard to get to. But you are doing the right thing. We had to make the same decision for our father after his dementia got bad. It was the best thing for him and my Mother. He needed someone to be around him all the time. He is still in Nursing Home and is safe. Received his first COVID shot a couple weeks ago and will get second one soon. Hopefully after everyone gets vaccinated there it may become easier to visit him. Keep in mind that you and other family members have to take care of yourselves too. Hence the other need to have your father cared for by people who are paid to have the time and training to do so. Thoughts and prayers our friend.
