Got stuck reading FHC posts this morning. Really windy and wet this morning and rather warm for this time of year. The only thing sore on me this morning is my hands which kind of sucks while typing. Over the two Sundays, we sent almost 40 loads out for the fundraiser. campinspecter's woodsplitter did 3/4 of all the splitting for those 40 loads.

"A three hour tour" (gilligan's island lol)

I drove to town and went to the market (hubby does all the groceries but has been out of commission). I had a lot of necessities we needed, items for hime being under the weather, and a craving for rice chex w whole milk and too much honey  They were out of rice chex  Anyway $$$$ later the pantries are full again :). I got the groceries from the truck to the porch before dark, just need to get them in the house and put away...... I think its cool enough the cold/frozen items will be fine for awhile.

A ton of honey, four tons of water, a few gallons of yeast, a very large carboy and air lock the size of a fire hydrant and a few months will make that honey really tasty and smooth going down.

Good for him. That crud has been going around here for the last few weeks, been tough to kick.
The only cure is- rice chex, whole milk, and tons of honey. If you can find it. ;)

1st day of vacation, so didn't want to do too much. Bucked up a fallen tree, re-shuffled the wood pile, got the Christmas cards done and mailed out, re-stocked the wood bin for tonight's burn, did laundry, made Chile and went down and mucked the stalls in the horse barn. Chile was awesome and the wife had no room to bitch about me being lazy. Overall, good day!
