Busy weekend. last night I sanded down my child furniture project while campinspecter ran the boiler. Today we went out to a fundraising woodcut for our church school. Back home with lots of projects before Christmas to be done. got Christmas cakes make a couple of weeks ago but there is still shortbread and goodies to be made. I still have trying to finish a pair of socks for my son-in-law. Time flies when you are having fun. I have been trying not to get caught up with the antics of the FHC club but it is pretty addictive and there is so much going on right now on the forum - hard to keep up.

Looooong but painless shopping with the good wife and 2 daughters in the dirty filthy state capital. The greedy hungry monster is fed and it's time for some shut eye. Good night.

He's asleep!! Either exhaustion or cough syrup, or both finally knocked him out. Taking him back in the morning for pneumonia xrays and look at dehydration. God forbid he needs to be hospitalized.

I did not get the specifics on what blood tests the doc ran but they were normal except for dehydration. I assume it was CMP, will double check tomorrow. Thanks for all your prayers and kind thoughts :)

The parents porch was completed yesterday. They just have to decide what they want to put down for a new carpet or other floor. We finished about an hour before my brother had to leave to catch a plane home. I went right home, took a shower, and back to my parents to pick him up and take him to Syracuse's Hancock Airport. Got back home about 8 last night. I put all my projects on hold to help my older brother get this done for them. Parents very happy makes it all gooder.

    Happy monday :)

My Monday started like  I got an email from my credit card company for a fraud alert, call them up and find out somebody has racked up $600 worth of charges on my card since thanksgiving week. Good remind to watch your cards, with all the crazy shopping right now its probably easier than usual for the fraudsters to sneak a couple transactions in without setting off the alarm.

In other news, still busy as a madhouse around here... We took the kids down to my Mom's place on the cape Saturday, and then yesterday took them on the Polar Express train ride to meet Santa, followed by dinner at my MIL. Spoiled kids got to see both grandmas in one weekend :)

And my son has been playing a lot on the computer r/c simulator.. i think he might finally be getting over the stage he just wants to crash it on purpose, maybe next summer I'll start taking him out to the field with me and get him a small electric helicopter of his own.

Someone got ahold of my wife's card # and tried to push through three $800 transactions in the span of one minute on Thanksgiving, all e-cig websites. We don't smoke, never bought from such sites. Credit card co caught that one pretty quick, guy I talked to said it happens a lot on the holidays, they think the cc companies aren't watching.

wildwest hope all starts getting better for your hubby. Sounds like he has a good nurse at least.
jharkin man that stinks. My bank cut my atm card off once because I was working nights and buying coffee. Was not real happy when I couldn't buy my morning coffee that day or when they called at 11 am and woke me up. But thought hey that's pretty good even a few $1.50 charges threw a flag.
