Split a big maple round and stacked it. Had too much to do on the kitchen wall to do more, but I always like to get out and swing the Fiskar every weekend, even if just for a little while.

Slept horribly last night so I'm going half speed today. Argggggg.

Nice fire going in the Liberty today... hey thewoodlands... have you ever loaded up for the nite with good dry hardwood and not been able to calm the fire down with the air intake? I'm still getting used to that last 1/8" of travel... not much movement really makes a big dif?

I meditate til I get to the vegetate... then I have to remember to unwind my legs before doing a cartwheel dismount.

Stinny , not since I learned how to burn down the coals!  I installed a new door gasket this year, very easy to control the fire.

Wait until it's 20 below, the Liberty will draft like crazy.

Took the poor guy to the doc this morning. The pumped him up with fluids, rx'd cough syrup and antinausea meds. I wish I had gone in the room with him (had the lil one with us so entertained her in waiting room) because they took blood labs, not sure for what though!. His flu test was negative. The doc said its suspicious for so many nasty symptoms to all happen at once with a virus. I guess they are testing him for what? parasite? bacteria? I have never heard of testing for viruses? I have no idea how long labs take up here to run blood tests, hopefully we don't have to wait til monday. Hubby thinks there may be another rx after the labs are back but honestly he's pretty out of it, not sure if he understood the doc correctly. Thanks for listening :)

Oh, and he's been nursing gatorade as he can to bring back his sodium.

I'm usually at the workhouse Sat/Sun., took the weekend off. Lots of rain has me shut out of making firewood, ground is soft. I spent a few hours in the garage, fettling with a couple old lanterns and pretty much watched tv all day,,I sure would like to get out of doors and burn some 2 cycle. My good wife, that strong and patient woman, might try to drag me to the city,,,
