It's just a matter of time that the tern "Black Friday" will be in the past, made obsolete by the retail world.
Not soon after that Thanksgiving might take a back seat to the Christmas "buying" season. It's kinda sad actually,
as a kid I remember nothing to do with Christmas would begin until after Thanksgiving. Now you see
commercials right after Halloween.

I am stuck home with sick kid, I hope for leftovers but I am thinking we will just have another Thanksgiving next weekend for us to enjoy.

 

We're in Kansas City, we arrived Tuesday night. Other then going to the post office I haven't left the house in two days.

Stinny got to be into work the 3 to 11 shift today. Did not have many outages down here from the snow.

Holiday baking today. Cookies, bars, bread and caramels. Already gave the neighbors a tray each of cookies and bars and the FIL is coming over for his.

I missed some content for a while somehow I was ignoring rottiman. Glad to hear all went well and you are doing good.

 

You must have been talking to my wife. She sometimes does the same thing.........

 

Think my 3 year old had a part in it. He likes to look at the smilies and things go haywire after that. Took me a while to realize I was ignoring you. I never looked into the fact you could but kept noticing a thing that said show ignored content.

Working 3rd shift hammered me last night, the good wife let me sleep in. The family is off to dinner at the mother-in-laws and I'll see a pile food when they get home.

Well, some of the company stayed later than I thought. And that was a good thing. I was glad to see them and have a visit. So the cutting of firewood will wait until Saturday now. Just enough time this afternoon to sit at the camp for an hour and relax. Then back home to prepare for the second feast of the day!

 

Can understand, there are days when I operate a computer like a 3 year old.........
