Maybe? Probably? The last night at the pool for the year... might get in a dip tomorrow... but it was 91 F with a feel of 95 F today... Gonna be moving a few buckets of wood up to the house tomorrow.... talking cool and damp for three or four next week... may have to have a fire or two ... will see...

I rarely watch the news, but I was bush hogging with the lights on. Scared the turkeys and deer out of the yard when I drove down to the barn. They were like wtf are you doing out this late! Happy Labor Day to y’all. I’ll spend it doing labor.

I lost both my old dogs this summer. Blondie was enamored with our daughter since the day we brought her home, would lick her peach fuzz hair if I turned my back, kiddo learned to stand up on her, she grabbed fist fulls of skin and hair and pulled up on her, Blondie was as happy as we were! Go Baby Go! My Dad Oct 8, Blondie May 8, and Blackie Aug 7th. And an Aunt and blood Aunt between the same months, interesting time period.

Took my old girl to the lake today...too much algea to let her swim, but she still loved it. Almost 12 and three 20200906_154248.jpg 20200906_140550.jpg surgeries on her rear wheels! She is limping around now, but I know she appreciates going!

Looks good! I'm probably going to wait another few weeks before I start moving the wood into the shed.

Got the first coat of paint on the bathroom tonight. Finish painting tomorrow and maybe get started on floor too.

Butchered hogs for 10 hours yesterday then came home and sanded and primed the bathroom last night.

Beach is 6 days away and I can take a break.

Wife and I went to a movie tonight. In a theater. The even served popcorn. First time in months. They aren’t open at home yet.

I think most prefer to drink wild turkey. Plus, with all that alcohol content, gotta be one heck of a freezer you've got.

    Oh yeah, 2020 sucks.

I think I’ll do the same. Probably get started around September 19th, do a little at a time, and be done by October 10th.

Exactly. I have to bring mine about 100 yards, up a slight incline all by wheelbarrow. No need to rush that, and no need to do it unless the weather is just right!

It is going to be a cool and dry day which means it will be just right to get out and work on cutting some firewood. I have some large oak branches to cut up. The only down side is all of the wood is in a lot of brush and weeds. I got a little bit done yesterday so hoping to get more done today. My son will move it to the splitting area this coming Saturday. Rain will be moving in later today and continue thru Wednesday with 2-3 inches falling. I will try to get some pics.
