    Lol

Nope. Just took it apart and hauled it from the other person's house to my buddy's. I brought everything except a socket set. Yep. Needed that. My buddy knew better, as this was his bed frame before he sold it to this lady. Now she was moving and he ended up getting it back 5yrs later. Luckily my Winchester brand Leatherman tool that I carry on the truck had a needle nose pliers that barely worked on the recessed 9/16" bolt heads. Not the ideal tool, but it worked. I had a good bit of sweat going as the house didn't have central ac.

It's an all wood bed frame. I should've taken pics, as it's pretty cool. Poplar log cabin style frame.

    WORD From The Woods

    Galatians 6:11-18

" See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen."

This passage is Paul's closing in his letter to the Galatians and he reiterates some of the key points of the letter. He again warns not to do things like circumcision so that they would avoid persecution by the Pharisees. The issues of circumcision was a big deal in Paul's day but I think we fall into the the same issue today in a lot of different ways. We need to examine ourselves and find out if there are things that we do or don't do to avoid persecution. I'm not saying that we should go looking for trouble, but we should not be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ! We must never hide the truth of Christ in us! If Christ is really who we say He is, and if we really believe that He has saved us out of the darkness then we MUST spread His light into the world! As Paul says here, we don't have anything to boast about in our own flesh, but in Christ we have something to boast about. We can and should boast about Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection because in Him we are a new creation!

God bless and have a great week! -Terry

After our walk this morning and breakfast, it is off to work for me today. A new and definitely different school year ahead. Need your prayers for me. And of course the weather is supposed to be good this week. Hung Mom's new curtains yesterday and they fit but because of the bulk of the header, they don't want to draw open all the way. I will have to think about fixing that.

    Off for our walk.

Took tractor out on the sand. Put 4 5 gal pails in the scoop and filled them to about 3/4 with very dry sand. Important because if you get sand with moisture then it will freeze and be unusable in winter. This is to be used in the winter months to cover ice and keep us from falling. I also keep an ice cream bucket with sand in the car all winter long.

Also picked more corn. We're about at the end of the corn. Also because we lost all the oats we planted, I checked on a neighbor's oats. Not even a turkey track there... :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:

This weekend was a blur. Was supposed to go do a quick upgrade from 6-10 Saturday evening, then 6-10 Sunday morning. Saturday evening went 6PM to 8AM, then I drove 2 hours home (which was stupid). Slept 2 hours then had some family stuff to do Sunday afternoon. Got some sleep last night so feel pretty not bad now.

Weather is supposed to suck here the next 3 or 4 days.....mid 90's and wicked humid. Good thing I still have plenty of indoor work on the bathroom remodel to keep me occupied.

How big of a pour? Broom, stamp, or trowel? Might be not bad if you can get it all laid out in the morning and broom it around noon. Might suck real bad if you pour in the heat of the day and have to catch it just right to finish with trowel or stamp.

I helped pour a driveway last summer. It was about a gazillion degrees and they brought us a hot load. It was a disaster....it was past the point of brooming before we had it all laid out. I think it was 6 yards.

About 10-12 yards of street, in 2 pours...probably be done before noon...the prep sucks too though...need to drill 30+ 3/4" holes to pin the new slab to the old. I pity the kids that do that job almost full time for concrete contractors...roofers and concrete guys are some tough mudders!

Finish canning up 9 pints of spaghetti sauce.
I am selling the Buick. I pressure washed it Saturday today was clean the interior day. Starting at the driver's side I got all the way across the front seat. When I exited the passenger side I was attacked by yellow jackets. Didn't take long to get out of there. I'll give them time to settle down and then see where they are coming from. They have a nest inside the car someplace. Found some hornet and flying insect spray. I'll load up the interior and leave the windows up. Should teach them a lesson.

The lawn, or whatever is left of a lawn will get mowed this evening.
