    Finally switched over to snow here, but its still in the mid 30s and wet out there. Forecasters cant agree on totals still, but whatever we get it looks like its going to be heavy slush :(

    I dont have to work today, the girls are baking, kids are watching muppet Christmas and I just lit the stove.. life is good :)

    Bah, I put the chickens in after we got back from what was going to be banking, junk store, and sausage platter run, however the brew pub has changed its hours and only opens at 4:00 PM Monday through Wednesday.

    I'll have to be happy with the beast we got at the market. Until then I've got some cheese, crackers, and a hard green apple cider to help me deal with the deep emotional issues caused by lack of sausages.

    Got new tires put on the truck. Came home and cut up a big hickory tree. Split with a light tap from the maul. Got about 1/3 cord...still need to stack it. Just finished getting a batch of goose jerky marinading.

    All went really well. The Bear was certainly happy to see me when they picked me up @ the hospital. He has had a busy day as well and is now conked out on his futon here in the family room.

    We have a herd a turkeys that wander around here. You oughta see that white Tasmanian devil of our's flip out. I never have let her get after them cause she'd stay with em for quite a while I think.
    She'd never get one tho cause she pushes decibel levels over the top with her shreekin'... :D

    That would be funny to see that little dog chasing them turkeys....And ya WET, Heavy, Snow....And lost power for couple hours and that's not normal for where I am situated...Got heat no matter what...:)
