Lol, can't do that when I am not at home.;). I'm not retired like some folks here on FHC.:salute:

Now I am at home though. Got some stuff to do to outside, then more prep work.

I'm pretty sure I know where that is, at least approximately.

    Been crazy busy.

Meetings all day. Canned 13 pints of relish and 11 pints of pickles after work.

Painting bedroom #2 after little kids go to bed.

Going to try to squeak in a bourbon on the porch later, but the clock is ticking too fast.

Not sure what to do about the floor in that room. It has about 1" of floor sag over 10'....and I can't build up the low spot.

Far northern California. It's a really nice drive.

No, Richardson is a bit too inland for them. They need the mist/fog from the ocean.

The Redwood Forest is one of my wifes bucket list destinations. Those trees are incredible.

They truly are truly impressive. I highly recommend seeing them.

Luckily my wife went to school at Humboldt State in Norcal, and grew up in Saratoga and other parts of northern California. So she knows all the cool spots.

What's that plan for the flooring...putting something new over the existing? Would some type of self leveling floor compound work?
    Have access from below?

I can remove 5/8 partical board that sits on the TnG and drop that, but no room to fill the low spot. Nail down hardwood has some forgiveness for level as long as it is flat. I'll figure it out....I always do.

Even better is the new 2 and 4 door broncos. There's the sport too, but that's based on the escape chassis. The real fun starts with the regular bronco.

Every trim level will have available 35" tires. Nobody else has that. There's two engines available from the launch in the 2 and 4 door. 2.3 Ecoboost 4 cylinder and 2.7 twin turbo ecoboost v6. The Wrangler isn't bad, just the engines all have glaring issues. The turbo 4 isn't really that good( not great power when you need it) and the 3.6 v6 is a dog. Ecodiesel? Honestly maybe the best choice? Big hemi? Great. Sucky mpg. There's not one engine in a Wrangler thatdoes everything well. Having driven a 2.7 ecoboost v6 in a supercrew F-150, that's the engine to get if you want power and mpg. That 2.3 Ecoboost really has impressed a lot of skeptics with it's power for what it is.

    2021-Ford-Bronco-front-three-quarter-2.jpg

If that's not enough, apparently there will be a raptor-ized version. Possibly called warthog. There's also a 3.0 ecoboost v6 like what's in the Lincoln Nautilus is around 400 hp/ 400 tq.

Also a pickup version for 2022.

Having owned a number of Broncos growing up, I'm super interested in the new one.

trying to stay up and look for the comet. Sky isn't getting dark enough to see stars, never mind the comet. Anyone seen the comet? lower sky in the north.

I think I see it! When I look to the NW I see bright white stars, but one has an orange look and kind of sparking or blinking color to it. I need to add I've NEVER seen as many stars as up here in my entire life. Ever, even camping in the wildness in Colorado. This one is different. I think it is the comet.

Edit, I just looked up pictures, what I could see (no telescope) I did not see a tail...

Go easy guys, just woke WW to ask him where the binoculars are, of course, dashboard in his truck. I went back out and finally located and focused on it through the binocs, it is indeed the comet! I could see the ball and the tail (trail?).

Very interesting, though I was very distracted keeping track of Blackie doggie that panics when I leave so I took him with me, he also is deaf now so I cannot call him back..... Anyway last time I could spot and focus on it, it was appearing sparkly in different areas of the ball and seemed there were sparks in the tail. It was amazing to see! I tried again for awhile but it was not as visible and getting chilly. Still felt spiritual.

Heard about it at work tonight/last night, haven't had a chance to see it.

    Too much cloud cover

May have to bring out the telescope
