    Grandparents had a 1850-1860 house looked similar. Same walk in attic. Those were the summer bedrooms and closed off in winter.

    After I mowed the lawn, we had a fire out in the patio pit. There were so many sticks that we picked up from the windy day earlier in the week, so since they needed to be disposed of, I brought out the 029 and cut some of the thicker branch pieces up into fire pit size. We had the fire going outside until 10 or so, then we went inside and I was asked if we could have a fire in the insert inside. Sure, why not? I never reloaded the quadrafire after the first couple of pieces that I put in it, but it was nice to have a fire.

    Now, waiting for my wife to get up to hopefully get out on the lake today. Something tells me this will be one of those days when there will be a lot of putzing around before getting out of the house. That's despite getting all the items out last night so it would be easier.....

    They just readjusted our forecast too. Over 90 one day supposedly. They'll change the forecast again 3 times before Tuesday any way


    We're not going on the lake today. Just a little too chilly. That heat wave wasn't quick enough to get here.

    I thought so too. Our friends just put their 09 equinox up for sale on Friday/ Saturday and it's already sold, at the top end of value too.

    I think the almost new to New car market is the one that's hot the most with car rental companies selling a lot of vehicles at a reduced rate. Those are the ones that are taking the hit on the market. Get past the 3-4 yr old used point, and the vehicles are still worth good coin
