Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Mom. We had a great day. Weather was good, lots of cars in the birthday parade, she got lots of phone calls and our family zoom meeting went really well. got home late and stayed late so we all slept in this morning. It is quite windy out this morning. the weather is turning out better than expected.
Another day of nice steady straight down summer rain here...not that we really need it right now...but as I mentioned the other day, it is nice to get rain without a storm for once...
So I am sitting here watching the 12 o' clock news on TV, my 2.5 YO daughter walks in and says " can we watch the news?" I said this is the news, she says "no its not", so I asked her what kind of news she wanted then, she says "camel news" Darn kids...
Cable News. I would have never made that connection. You must speak fluent Kiddonesse. Camel News. I was thinking she wanted to watch Al-Jazeera .
She is a ham! So is her brother...but kids being kids, most of their material is cheesy, especially her older brother...that's why I refer to them as "ham n cheese"...they are quit the pair!
Here is a good dose of reality about the weather in Maine: The leaves are green, the bugs are active and folks are cutting their grass. Gardens are going in. Two weeks folks, just two weeks.
