savemoney, I hope your recovery good well and that you can get outside more.

Our daughter sent me a link for a new mask pattern. fits quite different from the pleated one. Midwinter, do you want the link to the pattern?

Yes sir, sadly several logs were or had severe center rot. Just glad to be able to help her (a widow) out. We did get some solid logs from 2 willow okas there. 6 trees took down, 3 dump trailers home.

I would like to, I just have to be realistic about being able to take care of them. I might try some of those plants that are half grown when you buy them! Just have them in 5 gallon buckets and some bamboo sticks to tie them to. I'll need to get my grandson to help me. I can't lift the bags of soil or move the buckets once they are filled. I have some urns I will with seedlings. I can take the garden hose and pull it along with the scooter as I go from urn to urn with my trimming, feeding and watering. At least with the scooter I can get around some. I get exhausted really fast. I haven't tried anything yet since getting out of the hospital. I'm trying to stay out of trouble and see if I can build any strength back.

Do you have an exercise routine at all? If not just start walking a little bit. Count your steps. Then increase it a few steps each weeks. Take care. What type of scooter do you have.

20200515_142830.jpg Well somebody decided to take a walk around the pond. Rain is across the valley. She likes walking in the rain. Time to go get dog shampoo. She hates baths.

Had a clogged bathroom sink drain. Tried to snake it and the old galvanized pipe separated behind the wall. Stupid design has it running six feet horizontal to the outside wall and then down and back to the drain. Will have to rip out the wall or try to reroute the line. My son said maybe it’s time to remodel. He said he do it when he’s on vacation in August. Don’t want to put him trough that considering he has three kids, and I’m too old for this crap. Hate to call in a contractor.

    Ya our yard needed mowing.
    20200515_145353.jpg
Yesterday Chaz got the new belt on. Checked it worked fine. But he didn't like the way the blades were working. He checked and deck was balanced fine but one of the blades were bent. So off to home depot. Got home and can see rain across the valley. Doesn't the yard look nice now. First mow of the season.

She is a black lab. She mother was Chocolate and the father was yellow. Pups were all black except for two chocolates. Molly was the last one not spoken for. Worked out very good for me.

Had a really nice thrill today while on our walk. First, we had stopped once and were talking about something and I heard a deer stomp a few times. Didn't think much about it. Probably 20 minutes later we walked through that area again and was walking slow and talking. Judy stopped so I did and as I did I looked just to my right and there stood a deer about 15 yards from us. She left then suddenly Judy spotted a pair of newborn twin fawns. They were standing and came toward us. We didn't let them get too close and simply walked out of there. What a thrill that is to come across newborn fawns. They are still pretty wobbly so probably were born this morning.
