It ain't a big boat like restaurant, it is a boat moored to a pier that has been made into a restraunt. It might even be self mobile (been awhile since I was there), let Beetle-Kill know how it was as he and some friends are flying into PWM at Superbowl time and are looking for a place to get seafood. Dimillo's is one their list of possible places to go.

I agree, they got the age brackets wrong, somebody jumped the gun. My kids (now 23 and 25) were the terrible 4 and 5's way back then. And I remind them of it when I can

Cool, will do. The food was EXCELLENT. The prices weren't cheap. Really nice place. Felt like we had the place to ourselves although we really didn't. Not to loud and noisey at all.

Clam chodah was to die for.

Portland is great! Reminds me a bit of San Fran, but of course smaller and less hills. Great restaurants and vibe.

We took it easy this morning... Coldest night yet woke up to something around 22F, filled up the encore had some coffee and read the paper.

Headed out late morning to go to the orange box and exchange a dead LED (first one I've had die, thank you 5 year HD warranty), then got some pastrami sandwiches and brought that over to my MILs and left the kids with her while the wife and I went out. She dragged me out to Sturbridge to look at some antique store which usually im not that excited at but we saw some nice pieces that might look good in the living room / stove room (we are trying to make it more period looking to fit the age of the house).

While there we popped into the old sturbridge village bookshop and I got a couple interesting books on traditional woodworking techniques. I'm getting more and more interested in that as my Dad hands me down all his tools and I work on the house.

Back home now, stove cooking again, beer in hand, gong to make some pizza. Kids playing legos... maybe I will too :)

EDIT: forgot to mention, while we where over there I hung up a bunch of curtain rods as well.. She had asked me to borrow a "power screwdriver" the other day and I lent her my impact driver but since the opportunity arose Id rather just take care of it for her so she can spend her time being grandma and not a handyman.

earn some more good son-in-law points also :) ;)

Well it sounds like you guys had a pretty good day. Great to hear.

Off and on today I moved the rest of the wood in under the porch. It is all stacked under there cept for the last load. That can be moved into the basement a little at a time over the next few days to a week. Glad it is finally all in out of the weather!

Now on my days off I will start to cut for next year. I think I'm going to try cutting into logs lengths about 8 feet or so long and then pick them up with my tractor forks and bring them to the processing area. That will save some work. My neighbor is almost done with my conversion plate so I can quickly attach the forks. Can't wait till it's ready!
