I just may have to commandeer my wife's hair dryer. I was using my paint peeling heat gun. I had used it many times before with no problem but didn't baby sit it this time.

20's are forecasted upco0mig this week.

Looks like I'll have to disconnect the water at the cottage to avoid any damage from freezing. :picard:

Yes, we've tried them but there is so little in them that it doesn't work for the cramps.

T.Jeff Veal the earliest I've seen hay cut around these parts is Memorial Day (before the date was changed). Most times people don't start making hay until about the second week of June.

People just started mowing grass around here over the weekend.

I’ve lost count of how many mowings we’ve done here.... I mean how many mowings Fire Flake has done. She asked told me when we bought our home, “I would like to cut the grass.....”
    Be my guest, dear. :D

I'm so sorry!! All my toes are trigger joints so I curl them frequently to release the tension and I guess I am doing that while sleeping too, wondering if that might be inviting the charlies and hammers.... Actually pretty certain they start with releasing the triggers. At any rate, thank you, I'm going to try the Hylands, became a fan of them when I went hyperthyroid but took awhile to figure out what it was (doctor gave me dumb pills, xanax, feeling dumbed out while thyroid made me tremble and heart would race was spooky stuff!) I'm sorry, had leg cramps while pregnant, they increased my iron supplement, maybe calcium too and that helped a bit if your interested.

Eta, I didn't see you as one that would use homeopathic, cool!!!!

Good bird watching this afternoon. Using a digital camera for these.

    Indigo bunting.

Waiting outside to see another owl or anything moving through. A bit windy though.

God Bless you and your Bride. Grateful he has you but sorry you have to cope.
We had them at our previous home, though a bit different coloring, such a beautiful song, I sure do miss it.

Even though I can stay there and keep the place overheated (thanks, 99!) it is the lines outside that are in danger of freezing and damage.

Could you maybe just let the water drip from the faucet and run the stove overnight? Unless it's super easy to disconnect the water.

Naw, with the outside lines and not wanting to risk any damage to piping and pump system, it'll be disconnected. Over the decades, the upper 20's have been the low side of the temperature limit for taking any chances. :handshake:

Did you get any walleye this past weekend?

    Bottle bass. Lol

I don't fish from my ski boat. As a matter of fact, there's no fishing allowed from my ski boat. Most people with competition ski boats have this same rule.:handshake:

The fishermen we talked to had no luck, and nobody we saw fishing was bringing anything in.
