We've been seeing highs around 60 on the nice days, but they are usually starting around 38-39F. House is typically about 65F in the morning. I'm still doing 4-5 splits a day. I only did 4 this morning, but should have done more. Gonna need another reload soon.
Snow real hard earlier this morning, even turn the ground white. 10 minutes later the snow was gone. We have been having numerous snow showers between lots of sun. Should be better tomorrow but still cool.
Well, all that warmer weather I talked about just went out the window. I was looking at all these posts about snow and cooler temps so I checked our weather forecast, and it’s getting cold again. We are under a wind advisory and it’s blowing hard out of the west. Guess the stove will be brought back into action.
it was beautiful today... Got one front triangle of the house siding cleaned off of chipped paint off ... tomorrow morning vinager it and then primer and paint it ...Looked at the can of primer today its 3 years almost to the day that I did the first trial section. Which still looks good. Metal siding is a different creature....Then one more two good days in the near future and I'll have that all three sections done... sure beats doing it while its hot outside...

It turned out I was wrong in this prior post. I pulled out my measuring wheel and walked it through how much we had done of the trail the other day. About 150 yds. Caffeine and breakfast in. Time to go get some diesel fuel for the tractor and to add more to that distance it today.
Happy Birthday Pete! Today is my wifes Bday too. I have a surprise cake being delivered for her by her best friend, who does cake artistry. She does crazy things with cakes. I told gave her complete artistic authority to do whatever she pleases, as long as it was PG. Im told its going to be a Joe Exotic cake with tiger striped cake inside
