12.2 lbs IMHO is heavier than I would figure compared to smaller gas saws. My parents bought a Stihl ms211cbe with a 16" bar. Stihl says it's 9.5 lbs with no b&c. That pico chain and bar is pretty light. It's probably 11.5 lbs gassed up. You could get a smaller saw that would tip the scales at even less weight.

Electric anything is inherently smooth though.

Congratulations on seeing the robins. We still do not have any here. Don't know what has happened.

Roof looks steep Jon. They holler at me too when I go up so I don't do much of it anymore. Especially now that I get vertigo occasionally...

There are a lot of White Ash through here.:saw: If I have enough gumption I may cut enough off the property this year for next season and not have to buy the Beech. A45CA0A7-6A9F-4042-B6AB-0E6BF51D3D9F.jpeg

Well I actually ran it off and on for about an hour cutting up some some small stuff up to about 8". It is light, smooth and quiet. The battery was still on three bars when I was done.

It is going to be perfect for its intended use around the home, cabin, and 4 wheeler trails. It will come out in the deer woods as well when some small stuff needs to be cut to get closer to an downed animal.

I will give it a better work out and report once I cut up the big aspen top in the yard at our cabin. I will charge it before we go and run it as long as it holds a charge. But so far so good.

You have the wrong spelling there. I would need Scotty Overkill money to buy that beach!:emptywallet:

It is. Not bad to walk up, going down, no good. Ladder and hooks over the peak was good. All taken down in a half hour this morning.

Good. Too many times in the past I've had a rope over the roof top and tied down as a guard if I slipped. Don't like doing that at all.

Right now we have some gutters that really need cleaning and my wife is balking at me climbing the ladder to get that done. Dang, I wish the kids were still home. Well, maybe not.

I called in to the FD for another burn pile today. They inspected the area a few weeks ago, but I wasn't in the computer as being inspected.

Another truck shows up and gives me the all clear. Light winds today so I had a good fire.

This was the before pile from a few weeks ago.

This is where we ended up today. A bit more cleaning up and I can get the tractor through here. My dad stopped over again and helped. Good to get out and clean up after the winter.

I found more hemlock rounds and big arborvitae chunks. All good to burn.

We bought a nice thundercloud plum tree and Indian summer crabapple from a local small nursery. They are feeling the economic pinch. My wife bought some daffodils for inside the house from them yesterday. They offered free local delivery too.

I do not. But back to work tomorrow. We have not skipped a beat. Working at a Peterbilt dealership I don't expect us to shutdown.
