I am back in pants AGAIN! I'm even going to leave the property! Taking the youngest on a ride to see the teddy bears everyone has out.

Oooh!! An outside trip for us too!! I need gas and oil for the hydro system on the garden tractor. Luckily it's just 5w-30 so I can get that easily at O'Reilly's. Maybe get some groceries at the Kwik Trip. They've got great bacon for cheap, as well as butter and a deal on chicken breasts. Quick easy shopping. My hair clippers arrive today via UPS too.

Tomorrow our online grocery shopping order will be ready for pickup at 11 am.

Definitely. It's either that or yard ash branch cleanup.

Was going to hire new windows done this year, but with the stock market taking a poop I believe we will use savings account to live on. Not going to withdraw from 401k account with this kind of market.
I install these windows 10 years ago and I did not do a few correctly. I guess I will correct the problem ones on the first floor and hire the second floor windows repair out. Unfortunately most of the bad windows are on the second floor and I no longer trust my balance, knees and ladder climbing skills to attack them.

I'm far from retired, so the stock market has no impact on me spending money for another 20 years.

Single story house....barely have to use a step ladder.

Teddy bear hunt was a success, we bagged our limit.

I stopped at the mailbox when I got home. Managed to take a big chunk out of my right thumb knuckle.....where it literally just healed a few days ago. Only tore a much larger section off this time.

I worked on freeing up the big brush pile this afternoon. It was all tangled up from the PO. The MS170 cut so well on the small brush. I found a large arborvitae that was sitting on a bunch of branches. I cut a few chunks out of it and was surprised by the tight rings. Somewhere around 70 years old when it was cut in the fall of 2018. I was going to save this for wood turning, but it is really off center.

Probably that's probably part of the package. I don't know, I didn't really order it, and I am not up on what all these new truck packages have. I see horkn responded after me and he probably knows.

Is that a thing? Are people putting up teddy bears so parents can get kids out to ride and showing them to them?

That was an old one, all right. It must have been tall. I like the wood for kindling.

Somewhere around 15-20 ft tall. The other pieces will go in the stacks

I also brought a few more smaller logs to the processing pile. It is a mix of splits and rounds as my racks are filled. I plan to build 2 more racks this weekend and fill them. Everything here is ready to be split or stacked. I'm hoping to clean this all up and get it tidy soon.

Yes, some would have 1 or 2, others would get carried away.

Amazing how the fire came through and the trees are still alive. I bet it did a number on some insects. That memorial looks torched. Stay well.
