The burn pIle was futile. The air is so saturated and dense, it would just not take off. Smoke was drifting low in the neighborhood. Back inside now to simmer some soup for a late lunch.
70 and windy here...Lilacs are leafing out, crocus and daffodils are blooming, grass is green and growing...probably have to mow in the next 2 weeks The grass actually never completely lost its green this winter...
Long walk completed. Light lunch. Boiler cleaned and shut off valve for supply line to toilet replaced with a decent 1/2” ball valve I already had on hand. Water turned back on to basement and some cleaning begun. Time for a break with some FHC surfing.
I needed a snack and saw my daughter heating herself some of these. I said me too. Hey. Sometimes I’m a healthy kinda guy.
Well, it is more about how I feel physically in my knees and hips. Oh, and I HATE clothes shopping so try to avoid that at all costs
We live near a public walking/bike path and decided to go for a walk today since it is sunny and 70 out...but very windy! I was kinda concerned about tree limbs falling on the path since most of the path has trees on both sides and the area where we would be is wide open farmland on both sides, so the wind can really howl across there...but as we walked I was not seeing too many small limbs down...until...CRASH! About 50' in front of us an EAB killed Ash of about 8-10" DBH fell across the trail from the east...the wind is blowing from the west, HARD!
