We've got crocus coming up. No daffodils yet.

Seems he’s looking and wondering what you did to that fender.... unless it’s been that way for a while and I haven’t noticed...?

There's a lot less stuff to watch on TV with no sports, no racing, and nobody in Oprah's audience to look under their chairs for free cars.

This morning i worked on replacing a bad window and sill on the barn. I picked up a nice 6 pane window to replace a bad one. I'll finish it up tomorrow.

I spent the afternoon at my brothers for a bit of tree removals. We took some small dead spruce trees down. Tallest was about 30'. His aren't all tangled up with vines like mine are here. We took about 10 down and left the bigger ones standing because the wind was pretty steady from the wrong direction. He used the new to me MS 170 and liked it a lot for limbing. That fun ended when it got pinched and the chain twisted a little.

That little saw made it so easy. He ended up with about a cord of rounds for s/s wood. The work opened up the yard quite a bit. We cut a few leaners out too. It was one of those days I didn't want to work all day on my projects.

I laid low today. Wife had to go to a walk in clinic because she had a shingles flare up.

We decided that if we're going to hunker down, they we are going to focus on getting the yard and house cleaned up. I scalped some shrubs that had 4 years of growth, and cleaned all the leaves out of the flower beds.

Tomorrow I need to start on raking the entire yard.

Looks like they finally are going to make the call to close the schools in town. Monday is faculty only for some online training.

We just saw one too. We thought it was totally unnecessary.

Yeah, that would be a problem! Once the yard work is done I'm going to tackle the firewood. Get next years oak out in the sun to make sure it's ready, get the shoulder wood stacked, then start splitting and stacking 24-25's oak.

She seems to be doing well. She just got home from the funeral. I'll let her settle back in before I give her a call. I think her nerves are wearing thin.

the VA called me yesterday. They were looking to see if I would change my visit to a telephone call. I'll try it and see how it goes. It is for Monday. I'm in that high risk group so they are looking for ways to limit exposure. Our adult children want us to isolate until things start to get better. No assurance that will work. One son and his family live upstairs. I should give it a try. My son inlaw told us he would go do any shopping we needed done. We still can go for rides. Just need to stay away from other people.
