Came with the house. But I can remember not having one and wet TP. Or the TP rolled just out of reach when you need it the most. Good practice for learning situational awareness skills.

We have a tp holder and he still puts an extra roll on the counter though there's rolls 15" below in the cabinet:headbang:. Was that you that posted the passive aggressive wife video about TP that cracked me up so bad?!?

Just looked and we have a pink sky this morning.

We have not done much shopping lately but will probably need to go sometime next week. Not sure what we'll find or if we'll find anything. This is getting crazy.

I made a last stop at the grocery store yesterday. They open at 7:00, I rolled into the parking lot at 7:15 and it was already full. Store was busy, but thankfully everyone was polite and orderly. The lines at 7:45 were INSANE!

Went to a smaller store/butcher shop after that, and they were much quieter, and I was able to grab the things I didnt see earlier.

Ready to hunker down for a while. The superintendent has still yet to close our schools. We are literally the only town around us still open. My wife has been keeping the kids home since Thursday anyway.

They sent out an email yesterday am saying that the HS basketball team was still going to play last night. They only changed their minds when my wife, and many other parents responded telling them they are effing morons.

Dennis, look into online purchases for staples. Places like Amazon, Target, or Walmart that will deliver a bulk of it to your door for free.

The big stores are nuts, so shopping the small mom and pops seems to be better I've found.

They will get restocked and you can go when most people are sleeping or working. We will get through this.:handshake:Together.

The weekend will be the worst time to shop. As far as I know, trucks are still rolling, so by the middle of the week the shelves should be stocked again.

I'm surprised that you wait until the weekend for shopping. We tend to go during the week now that we're both retired and its a lot more stressless.

But, if you don't find anything, you can always live off the chipmunks old dead eye ornery one harvests! :D

Most usually the problem is they do not want to deliver way out in the country. Yes, we went to a mom and pop story yesterday but just for a gallon of milk. This is a store well known for their meats and I've rarely seen it that busy. It was between noon and 1:00.

Nope. Do not wait for weekend to go shopping. Yesterday I had a doctor apt so stopped at a mom and pop store just for some milk. Usually hit the big grocery store maybe once per month at most.

That's funny! Sitting there with the job almost finished and you grab the roll. It falls and you watch it unwind all the way across the floor! :D:rofl:

I just grab the closest part of the roll and keep pulling.....and deal with the re-winding after the last step of the job is done!:rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Have you seen any robins yet? In past years, I have seen them as early as Feb but as we were walking yesterday, I had reminded her that none were to be seen or heard so far this year.
