By the looks of the map on the weather channel, you may get dumped on a bit with snow.

Yep we saw that, kids are on vacation, spent most of the morning wrenching the old girls back together. Now on a fresh 2 1/2 inches we’re working on tearing them back apart:D

Down here on western NY so far st our house we had rain last night and turned to snow during the night. It is miserable out there right now. Snowing (I think), wind about 25 and steady with gusts up to 35. 20*out. They are forecasting a blizzard tomorrow with 1 to 3 inches. Winds not going to be pretty.

Whoever "they" are.... they shouldn't use the term blizzard

At least 35 mph winds (not gusts); visibility less than 1/4 mile; at least 3 hours of this going on.

They ... the dumb forecasters. Will have to wait and see. Still snowing and blowing here. I just wish it would go away. Am starting to see a few more highs in the 40s so there is that.

Nope. We got a few flurries. That's it. Anything that fell melted from the sun.

'Bout an inch here...still snowing though...well, maybe not, hard to tell if its actually snowing, or just blowing it around from the 30-40 MPH wind!

That wind was ridiculous. It lasted all day when that system was here.

If I could, I would send a bunch of my snow cover over to help. Everything I snow blow are almost clear, but everything else is still fully and well covered. But, I do feel your pain about the mud - the driveway to the tent garage is in full sun so is the only place fully rid of snow, and the tire ruts are mud. Will be firm up soon though.

Day “off”. I worked physically harder at home though. But enjoyed it.

I put 2 sliding samples to the test. One passed, one failed.

I had "snow" cover up until a few days ago, completely gone now other than my snow banks.

I think Sunday morning will be my target. 21 overnight tomorrow, then mostly cloudy Sat, and cold again Sat night. Hopefully it will freeze up my path. Luckily, it's not through the worst part of the front yard.

Time to leave the remaining oak in the shed and load up on ash and cherry.

I was wondering where my tall old blonde dog was this evening, looked out the window and she was over the fence :hair: there is a 5' snow drift over the wood part of the fence this year, WWW sawed a sliced down it and stuck in a 4' cattle panel in there several weeks ago. It drifted over the cattle panel recently too :startled:. Dumb luck she started heading back rather than away to chase rabbits since she cannot hear anymore so I cannot call her, and caught my theatrical "come back" gestures while contemplating coming back into the yard. She stood on top and winded for a couple minutes 10' high, and thankfully came back. PHEW!!!! She walked over the fence on a snowdrift in 2014 and was gone 3 nights in -17* weather. Did not think that sweet thing would survive. 30 miles and 4 days later we got her home!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor kiddo was a toddler and would stand on a chair looking out the window calling for her, they were practically attached to the hip back then.
