LOL I got my permit at 16, and I think that to this day my mother has never driven with me in the car again. She will hand me the keys to her car even now.

My wife doesnt two foot it, but she has zero throttle moderation. On-off-on-off the throttle all the time.

When she backs down the 4 car length driveway, the car slithers back and forth like a snake. She backed into the side of one of my cars twice because it wasn't in my normal spot, but on my side.

First time I drove on the highways was at 12 years old. My Dad's back blew out and he couldn't take the pain being behind the wheel and driving so I was forced into service. (No cops, no probs)

Next time, was a year later driving a 58 chevy with a loaded 30/30 and the ex BIL looking out the passengers side for whitetail. :picard: :headbang:

When I finally got around to taking drivers ed in H.S. the teacher asked everyone in the classroom if they had any experience driving previously. Went all around the room with a lot of "backed the car out of the garage; drove a little bit out in the woods" sort of answers for those that had driven. When he came to me, He shook his head and said.... "I don't even want to hear about you!"

My mom has the anti throttle modulation gene too, to only add to the seasickness factor.

Someone on here recommended an over the counter cold remedy. I can’t remember for sure who it was. Horkn maybe. I generally use NyQuil and DayQuil. The colds and the flu is flying around this area. And I think I have come down with something.:picard:I’m trying to remember if it was Ther-a-Flu that they recommend.

    Yes, that would be me.

Theraflu is a lifesaver. It also doesn't taste like crap.

47° and somewhat sunny yesterday. 49° and full sun today. Wife went and walked 4 miles yesterday in town, I joined her today.
Since the weekend was so beautiful, we thought we'd take advantage of the weather and grill ribs.

After the walk, we went to the store and got a rack of ribs. I cooked those up using my special recipe. We also tried baking potatoes in the air fryer. Wow, those were the best baked potatoes ever.

So after the awesome weather, we have a big snow storm coming. They are talking a foot of snow Tuesday noon through Wednesday. I see work from home day Wednesday.

Against my will, my mother had my sister pick me up from trumpet lessons a couple times. Both times she pulled out in front of oncoming traffic. First was backing out from diagonal curb parking on a way street on icy snow without looking. Second was turning right in front of an oncoming car that had a green light. I never had to ride with her again. Fast forward til years later, I went to her graduation and she picked us up from airport drove us to town on a california highway :hair::hair: I was in the passenger seat, my imaginary break was not working, think I left marks in her dashboard on her small car (she went through several cars like eatonpcat 's). Next trip the next morning after my Dad said I over reacted I refused to sit in the passenger seat and made him do it, in that small car with short hood and steeply sloped windshield. Yep, he got a rental car that afternoon.
