Couple dents and something by the window must be tweaked cause its jammed. That's no huge deal this time of year and probably a simple fix. Honestly I'm surprised the window wasn't broken

As frustrating as it is, goes to show there's always someone worse off....

He should be easy to track down and I'm betting they have insurance for such. May want to call local popo and have them fill out a report also!

If the damage was serious I'd have to, but for what a mirror probably costs at the U pick, it's probably more blood pressure than its worth.

Wouldn't shock me, except I'm guessing the one who hit the pedestrian is probably not back to work so soon. Unless that was a hit and run too....

Kiddo just ran to the hallway opening and yelled "We're All Counting On You!" and ran back giggling. What was that? I asked, he answered Airplane, I taught it to her. Not sure I even want to know....

Yeah that's no good. Was it a private or city plow?

x2, after I started a new job I was very excited about I learned the gal I replaced was killed by a county plow that blew through a stop sign with plow up. Yes, closed casket. No recourse for the family.

There's dents and now the window doesn't work. If this happened while you were not in the car, presuming, this was clearly no fault of your own.

How was there no recourse for the family? That's negligence.
I'm not a big believer in lawsuits, but that's a perfect example for why they exist.

I wish I could tell you details, I was told the county drivers were protected and the family could not sue. Maybe they could have sued but could not afford to fight the county?

Sounds like a crock to me. In this state, you can and should sue for that. I can't see how any state wouldn't allow legal action against either the state, county, or individual. Maybe the individuals are not able to be sued for that, but you for sure can sue some entity, be it state or county.

If the plow driver literally blew a stop sign that's an open and shut case.

Agreed. Sorry I do not know the details, but only all the aftermath. I still have one of her plants here right now (family brought her plants to our office after she died and I ended up with some). It must be 40+ years old now.

Private plow working for government corp. It's not my fault, but without video proof then its probably the drivers word against mine unfortunately. As stupid as it is, I could have taken a baseball bat to my own car for all anyone else knows. I'm not deleting the pictures just yet in case something changes, but as of now I'm calling it as easier in the long run to just fix it and forget about it.
