Aaaaannnnd the clothes dryer just broke. Quick research shows it is probably a grenaded drum support roller. $30 in parts and some time I dont have right now.

I fixed my gas dryer before. It was a thermal switch I think. Some sensor. It was a pita because there's no room, and all of the internal metal is sharp on appliances.

    Good luck

I did something similar once. Fairly easy repair thankfully.

    "Rags and Riches"

"As a child I thought 5 bucks was a lot,
Now once I pay my bills it's all that I got.
Been times my next 10 checks were spoken for 5 months in advance.

Just when you think you're getting ahead,
Seems like you always end up back in the red,
But you know you make something of yourself just given the chance.

But I got a roof over my head,
Clothes in the closet and a comfortable bed,
Food in the pantry and milk in the fridge,
Running water and a fresh leaf of bread.

    We complain about the rain,
But overseas they're dying of thirst,
We gripe about a little snow,
But earthquakes and tornadoes are worse.

If we had everything we wanted,
We'd surely take it all for granted,
Lose all appreciation for an honest day's labor of love.
But if the rich gave up their millions and billions,
We could feed all those sick starving children,
We could all have enough if some didn't have to have it all.

    A young man dies bravely,
He served his country and queen.
    Gave up many years,
He might have been all of nineteen.
They say to keep our land free,
This is the price we must pay.
    It's not easy to do,
But it's worth it at the end of the day.
But the ones who declare the war are safely kept out of harms way.
It seems to me it shouldn't have to be that way.

World peace shouldn't seem so hard to achieve,
A little respect for the different and a little less greed,
Spread a little love and we'd all have what we need,
And occasionally we'd just have to agree to disagree.

If we valued each other more highly,
I think the world could be truly happy,
But at this rate I'm starting to think that it never will.
If boss man shared his 3 million salary,
We could all be paid a little more fairly,
And people wouldn't have to choose between rent and and the electric bill.

Don't take your current situation for granted, and surely don't brag,
Just as rags become riches, riches sometimes turn into rags.
And sometimes when you're somewhere in between you rise or you fall.
One minute you might be rich,
    But I know that karma's a b!+ch,
If not in this life then maybe the next,
And greed has the power to someday maybe kill us all.

But I've got a newly shingled roof overhead,
Clothes in the closet, a blanket on my bed,
Running water and a fresh loaf of bread.
An able body and a fairly clear head.

    Sure there's things I want I don't have,
    But there's nothing I don't have that I need.
And I know that when you work hard and give,
Sometimes you have the luck to receive.

Life is pretty good all in all,
But I know it ain't that way for us all.
And it would serve some of us to recall,
The higher you are, the further you fall."

Couple days off. Today will consist of getting a bunch of chores taken care of. Dump run, clearing snow behind the barn, cleaning the Wood Gun boiler, etc. I’ll also be having lunch with my parents, I hope. A long walk outside to burn some of those calories off and then a good workout at the gym with my son later in the day. I should be exhausted by then. Hope all you hoarders have a great day!

Ours had to be completely disassembled and took about half a day with an impact driver. Total pain but saved a service call at a far higher price.

Justa quick update. The meds really started kicking in last night and feeling much better. Slowly starting to work on building up my endurance. Later all.

That's what this job looks like. Take it all apart because, God forbid, the wearable parts would be easily accessible. It's almost like they don't want this to be a DIY job and make money on repairs....
