    I hope you will be happy down there. The heat with east coast humidity is more than I care to deal with. I don't think I could at this age. I need some cool fresh crisp air. We get hot and humid here for a few days, but it doesn't last. Most of the year, it is cool or cold. I have horrid arthritis that likes the heat, but my need to breathe wins out every time.

    Thanks. I can always stay back north in the summer. Summer here is ugly. My arthritis is debilitating and it is better here. Slept better last night than the past 2 months. I never smoked so I don’t have any lung issues yet. My dad on the other hand. Non filter Camel for 50 years.

    Sounds like a problem I had once when we lived close to a Mom & Pop store. They had dogs; big dogs. Whenever they were let loose, my yard was their first place to go...literally. After fighting with that for a while I then took to using a scoop shovel and relocating the stinking stuff. Of course, it was then placed right in front of the entry door to the store. It only took a couple time of that.

    Rolled up one of the rubber roof sections I use to cover the woodpile today. Put it back into the shed until next fall. It covered a double row of wood that was around 6.5' tall and 23' long. Out of those two rows, it was around 3 cord. I am pushing 4 cord by end of month for usage.

    There was just a little bit of "My dog?" type of questioning. For the most part, it went well and they did take care of it a couple hours later. We'll see how the future goes.

    In past years, I had scooped it up and returned it to them. They said nothing. The next door neighbor was watching me as I did and he was laughing the whole while saying that they just don't have a clue!

    Hopefully, no repeat offenses! :handshake:

    I got a tractor scoop from the barn today. Looks like we still have at least a cord in there. Should be enough to get us until it warms up.

    Hello all. Well guess it was my time to get sick. Last week my chest was feeling tight. I also was running out of breath really quick doing things. So I call down to local VA and talked to my nurse. Said possible pneumonia or COPD flair. Good news it is the flair not pneumonia. So now I am on antibiotics and prednisone. All though 2 yrs ago I had my first flair and it landed me the hospital and getting put on O2.
