Woke up to a balmy -15 this morning. On one of my numerous nocturnal drainage runs I noticed that the moon made it appear light daylight out last night. Clear and cold at it's finest.

I thought long and hard about that at 5:30. It's not too terrible, you just gotta be quick getting in. Laziness and enjoying a cup of coffee won out.

All of our snow is iced over, so the moonlight was really reflecting off it.

Had a little bit of a red sky this morning. Might get a little snow this afternoon but they cancelled most of it due to lack of interest.

Having Sunday brunch in stove room. My beautiful bride asks me what are we doing for Valentines Day?

a pause, I got to think of something quick, useful, thoughtful, quasi romantic and the budget..oh the pressure..

well my dear I was thinking of taking you out to lunch and then “window shopping” ..

my MIL has been here 2 weeks and backed out of garage and removed side mirror doesn’t want to leave til it’s replaced:whistle:

comments why would you go window shopping you hate shopping?

    Cause we need a few windows:loco: :crazy::picard::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

Yesterday and today is sunshine - NO rain. Last night's full moon was gorgeous. campinspecter is headed out this morning for a load of wood. He found two downed trees across a side road when he stopped for dog and man break on his trip back home on Thursday. The wood shed isn't ready for new wood so this will be stacked outside until the last row of dry has been moved to the basement.

I would be going with him but I have to run the boiler and finish my end of year bookkeeping. Got a few other projects that need to done as well.

Yes. Usually the doctors have a pulse on what is going around in the community. They don't have to get (expensive) tests on everybody when everybody has similar symptoms, Assumptions are often made and they usually work out. They usually for the most part have a pretty good clue when to insist on extra tests and when not to. Seems like every family function lately I've caught something. I don't think a hermit life would suit me so what can you do.

Got our daily walk in and saw the skier folks (Ill. residents) down the street with their dog outside. Well, they have always allowed their dog to crap anywhere and I have carried it back down to their house and given it back to them.

This weekend was no different. The guy saw me coming and beat feet into the garage; 99 says are you going to say something? Yep!
Knocked on the door and explained to him that I do not like the idea of the dog's left behinds in our yard; it has happened in the past and I have always brought them back. Oh, my dog? routine which was quickly shut down. Then, he says. Well, it must've been my wife......

This is where my humor kicked in and I had to try hard not to say something like, "well, tell your wife to use the indoor bathroom, she's setting a bad example for your dog!" But I didn't! :zip:

Anyway, he said no need for you to clean it up, I'll get it.

    Thank you sir and left.

On the way back from the walk, they're gone and the chit is still there! Go figure!

Looks like I'll be making a house call this afternoon. :p
