“Montana has the mountains Colorado thinks it has”

The "mountain" I live near now is a bump compared the ones I grew up and then lived on the next few decades, but I'm still glad it's there. Bump brings me back to snow plows, I pulled out of a diagonal parking lot once while driving our F250 Supercab Xlong bed and was stopped before even getting 1st gear engaged. A tiny Geo Storm had parked very close to me while on my sales appt, and the bed of my truck went over her rear hatchback and popped her brake light lense  A snow plow guy told me they call that a "bump in the road". I found the gal and she said it had happened before

I had that happen once. Not in diagonal parking though. Parked and went into a store. Came out and crash. Lady had parked in front of me and when she got back into her pickup, she just backed up and Boom. $550 worth of damage. It was an old car so I did not have collision on it. MI law let me go to her and demand $500 to pay for damage. It turned out it was a company truck and needless to say, the company was not happy and the lady then tried to say it was only a little dent. Hum...

I then asked the company man to please call the police station and ask for the officer who came to write up the accident. He came and they asked if he wrote the accident and he stated that he did. They then asked if the damage looked like it did at the time of the accident and he said it definitely did. Whoa! Some very unhappy people but I walked away with $500 in my pocket. Got it fixed for less than $200 so all was well on my end.

I had to get the hose out and wash my truck before I put it away. It looked like I had been offroading.:bug:

LOL... sometimes I wish I had a blower on the front of the ole JD... it was the Honda blower going the other way, walking it up the ramps onto the back deck. Making plans now to plan on coming up with a better plan to blow the deck off next time...

Sorry to hear about your back! Would that little hand held electric Toro make a dent in the snow back there?
