A light dusting of snow overnight. A bit colder today but that was expected.

The white bean and chicken chili, well, best advice is don't try new things while you are sick. There was nothing about it like chili. Was a lot of chicken, white beans with onion and chicken broth. I told Cindy it was me that's off. Most likely what it was. She is usually a very good cook. Think I'll stick with breakfast food until I get over this stuff.

The word chili in the recipe evokes a solid beef and bean dish flavoring while really the dish isn't that chili tasting. campinspecter had to fend for himself the last couple of days as just smelling food had me running. I think I am over that part now.

Although I've had that before, and it is good, I don't know why it is called chili. Chili is beef or venison, peppers and beans (okay purists, some say meat is not allowed) in a tomato based sauce.

Why yes, I can be rigid in my ways ;)

When we shovel the garage here, it ends up in the driveway. So..... you get done with the roof, and then have to do the driveway !

We human beings are creatures of habit no? Since 1997 I have dutifully and faithfully snow blowed a path to my LP tank so the driver didn’t have to struggle to fill my tank? Since I went off the keep fill program last fall there is no need to do the path as I prolly won’t need any LP till oh 2021 guessing here. Well someone I know (ahem) plowed a path for the LP driver this morning. Old habits are hard to break or I am senile.
