I have the day off from construction today. I think I'm gonna stack some 1 yr old red oak on the racks later today. Surprisingly I took out 3 random oak splits out of this bunch and it was at 25% MC. There's a chance that this will be ready by next fall.

Nope, apparently going through hell means you are exempt from doing things you really don't want to do :D

Draft stopped  I got lucky and was able to rewire the satellite internet through an old existing tv line:banana::banana: Finally able to close the laundry room window that my internet has been in all summer for remodel. Shocked with the draft from that window just barely cracked since we removed the old stove, wind tunnel of cold air when the winds shifted.

I think Woodwidow 's chocolate idea is in order to come up sometime in the morning tomorrow. Especially if at work! Today I had one of my favorite candy bars.

Definately something nasty going around... Ive been sick over a week and now my wife got it too... suprised the kids havent yet. Starts as a head cold but then the part that lingers is a really bad sore throat and sinus pain that radiates into the ear. Id almost think I had an ear infection if not for the fact that I had a lot of those in hte past and that pain is a lot worse.

Jeremy, the strept throat I had had pain that went right through to the ears. I wasn't sure if it was that or the caffeine withdrawals. Get well man. I needed antibiotics to end it so I could go back to work.

Fiddlin' away in the shop today, cutting plywood and prepping the pieces of my 2 firewood bins. I (luckily) realized I couldn't build the boxes completely in the shop, to lower down into the Bilco when finished... they wouldn't fit. Now, making all the pieces ahead to assemble in the basement. Not sure how far I'll get... damm back is drivin' me nuts... :headbang:

Glad your feeling better. I doubt I have strep, I haven't had to miss work and dont have any of the typical symptoms (no fever, no swollen glands, no inflamed tonsils)... Just a little throat/ear pain and a lot of cold symptoms - head congestion.

Ya. Mine was a while back, like last two weeks in August I guess. And I'm glad that is behind me. Nasty.

What do/are you using for symptoms? There is several different things/sicknesses going around in this area.

Thanks Gas. Doin' better. Got the 2 bases with casters done today. I'll put up a buncha pix when I finally get the whole gizmachi put together. When I went to the Bilco Firewood Bin store, I didn't know it had to be assembled... :picard::D
