Mulberry darkens quickly in the sun. I just made the FHC logo out of duck tape(of course!)
2 days later & it looks like this.

Oh boy. Getting some caffeine going and enjoying the quiet. Wife and two of three kids still sleeping. Slight rain here this morning. That will keep me from outside work for a while. Oh well. I have a project I need to get to work on in the garage. And that will require me to clean off the bench in the garage. :picard:Time to turn the radio on and get at it. After I get out of the chair. After Wife cooks breakfast, blueberry pancakes! Did I say I was not in a hurry this morning? upload_2014-10-26_8-17-40.jpeg

I'm not a movie watcher, but that one certainly looks like it might be worth watching. Just went in and put the match to Ole' Betty. Had her running yesterday and then let her run out in the evening. Woke up to 42, pounding rain and a strong NW wind. Only supposed to get up to 46 here today so away we go again. Getting ready to watch the Lions/Falcons over in England.

Well I moved two heaping truck loads of this years BTU supply under the porch so far this morning. Now the wife , kids and I will stack it under there. Then it will be time to relax, have lunch at camp, and sit in front of this!

Got up early this morning, swept the garage floor then went to work for a couple hours. Took my dogs in with me so it made it more fun.

Got a little splitting done on some silver maple then pulled the flat tire off of the splitter. Need to get it ready for that elm I took down.

Made some apple crisp for my FIL on our "new to us stove". Worked great!

Then I pulled the fiberglass insulation from the end of the floor joists along half of my basement so I could seal the rim joists to the basement wall sill with expandable insulation, before putting the fiberglass insulation back in. Winter be a coming!

Now just waiting for the Packers to start....got some little smokies all ready :)

Thanks man. By the way how was "Fury"? Been waiting to see it.

I forgot to add that yesterday and for a while today, I used a new power auger to dig the holes for a fence to hide the brush pile from the neighbors.

Made quick work of it, except where I ran into some roots from the Elm tree nearby,
