What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Just got done getting my but kicked by my well. Pump went up yesterday, pitless adapter crapped out, pressure switch was acting up at the contacts. No pics except this one. Luckily my BIL and a good buddy helped me get the pump out last night, the rest I did myself. Tried to make a boom pole but failed at my first attempt.

 

You cut grass?!?!?! I haven't touched my mower in well over a month.

 

Ya. It's still growing here Nate. It has slowed, but still growing. So far it has been a mild Fall. We had a cold spell or two, but not very cold. I will be glad when the grass mowing is done. I have enough other things to do! LOL

 

How did you make out jetjr? Did you get it all fixed? I just went through all that stuff myself. P.I.A.!

 

Gonna Winterize the lawn mowers, wax the truck and rip out the carpeting in the spare bedroom today. Better have a big breakfast.

Time for me to split the rest of the wood for my brother. Going to start at 8 this morning. After I get the caffeine in me. Then it will be on to several small projects I want to take care of before the snow flies. Like putting up the plastic panels around the porch to keep the snow out.

 

Same here. I already did the "last cut" twice and with 3 inches of rain this week and daytime highs pushing 60 next week the lawn is greener now than it was in September!

 

Is It gonna rain up there today, It looked like it on the radar?

 

Yes. I think so. I am hoping to get something done before it does. But, when it rains, I have some inside project to do as well. Never a shortage of things to do when you have two pieces of property, a wife and four kids. My oldest moved away down south about 4-5 weeks ago though. Miss her.

 

We lost 2 days work due to the rain this week. Finishing the roof and starting the back stairwell today.

 

Cool. That's a large building. I haven't been involved in building anything of any size in a long time. Nice work there IS!

 

Sitting in a treestand this am. Saw a spike so far...and a gazillion squirrels. Here's the view. Sitting on a nice white oak flat raining acorns.

 

My wife dragged me out to the mall this morning since Macys was having a big sale and I need new work shoes. They have this traveling Lego "americana" exhibit that was really cool to see.



I forget what the sign said but it was something crazy like a 1000 hours of work by a half dozen people... There was also the supreme court, Lincoln and Washington memorials, the white house, independence hall, statue of liberty and a bunch more.


We were going to go out for lunch also but the kids had a meltdown when we wouldn't buy them a toy at the lego store which scrubbed that idea.

 

Well I moved a good bunch of wood in under the porch, then stacked it. Cut a little more grass. Just a bit of rain. Was able to get a decent amount of work done. Time to relax for the rest of the day!

 

Now the rain is coming down. Worked out good today.

 

Gasifier I thought that was you that just went through all that. All is good now just cleaning the system out. The well not me I saw some of your earlier post.

 

Better clean that tractor up too. Looks a little dirty.............LOL
