By speaking up in church during the wedding? I guess that's why some elope? Then there's the opposite, the shotgun wedding.
We are nuts, going to wally world tomorrow And, turns out we don't need the wood stove tonight so did not try the hair blow dryer, it's warmer than expected and calm winds Edit, ordered what I know we need for pickup, holiday meals/gift shopping in store, then pick up lane for the mundane and bulky stuff
OK, OK then! I'll be the first one to post in this thread this morning! rottiman must be out shooting or something. Gasifier must be working out or out working or something.
How much is MUNDANE per pound this week???....................Do they have it in family packs ??????.............................
Just stretching and yawning while I have my caffeine this morning Dave. How about you? How you doing?
Morning all. Feeling a bit better today but I still have a plugged up ear when I get up in the morning. Hopefully all my symptoms will be gone by Monday. Everyone stay safe today.
Slight rant.. So, I'm laying in bed, tossing and turning @3:30 AM My brain wanders to the subject of measurement.. Why on earth do we still cling to "standard" units of measurement? I mean, we've got to be about the only ones that still measure in inches, feet, yards, miles. I do conversions on a daily basis, so it's not that big of a deal, but why?? I know that... 25.4 mm = 1 inch 28.35 g = 1 oz 1 Kg = 2.2 lbs 1 Km = .6 mi But why do we continue to be bothered by converting measurements to begin with? It leads to potential math errors, and is never quite as accurate. It's great for hand tool manufacturers, they can sell two sets of wrenches and sockets. But that also means my tool bag in the car is twice as heavy as it needs to be. So you're under the vehicle with two sets of sockets and/or wrenches, because who knows what size or breed of nut or bolt is next. It's just a hassle. Ok, that's all.
