What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

My wife and I have a lot of fun remodeling our house. We have to install new hardwood flooring in the living room and hall and re-do the kitchen next.

 

Emma thought this wasnt a good idea also lukem Tires are pretty squishy

 

I just got off the roof for the fall roof inspection and chimney cleaning. I found that rodents chewed the lead reglet flashing on both chimneys. It will be a spring repair and get a sealant for the winter. Actually, a lead overlap with sealant sandwiched under it. Where is the blowing up a squirrel smiley?




They even chewed the step flashing. These were square cuts. These roof rodents need a different type of lead intake...

 

She looks like she's thinkin'... "they aren't gonna believe this one, dad"...

I like it very much. I've received a lot of compliments from family. And you guys. Thanks! It was a lot of work, but worth it. Thankfully, we have chainsaws !

Brought out a load of wood. I forgot I have more welding to do on the trailer. The back posts are loose . Luckily I had a strap.

I bet I am going to be sore tomorrow.

Started off going out for breakfast.
Then I cleaned out the stove and the flues. ugh.
Then I made the kids lunch and did some more touch up painting while the mrs went out to the store.
Then I raked all the leaves in the back yard and did what I hope is a last low mowing back there (still have to do front).
Now I'm doing 4 loads of laundry.

On the bright side the mrs is making home made baked mac and cheese and we have leftover homemade apple cake

Time for a nice glass of wine I think (no beer cold)... maybe light the fireplace later.

 

The kids thought I looked like leaf Santa

 

Did the final,final clean up on the yard and now poised in the front of the telly for what is going to be a climatic finish @ Talledega. Go Junior Go!!!!!!!!!
