Too bad about your cat. I know you'll miss her. Was it the tuxedo?

No it was Onyx the pure black one. She showed up at my door 12 years ago. I believe she had a good life.

Yes, too quickly. We are only blessed with these little souls for so long but I'm grateful for that time.

There is an OLD and LARGE green tabby I've seen before but more often lately, I opened the drifted in front door last night for the Rx dog food that was supposed to be delivered and she came out from under my Blazer. Ran towards me meowing and rubbed her face around my hand when I reached out. Broke my heart!! Yes, for better or worse I gave her some food....... We are already caring for two strays and cannot take a 3rd but I couldn't turn down a hungry thing in the cold weather and whipping wind.....

Idk, if she is that friendly I could get her TNR'd and make one of those either picnic cooler or rubbermaid tote shelters for her. But then I'd need another microchip door to keep the racoons and skunks out of her shelter. :picard:

my helpmates spent part of the day with me. Small gun show at the fairgrounds this weekend. They hadn’t been to one before.

I got Richelle a sixteenth birthday gift. Birthday is in a couple months, though. I told her to act surprised when I give it to her then.

I got a similar.22 Henry for her sister last year on her 16th. All the vendors; most of them vets, enjoyed interacting with them as they looked at things and had genuine interest in the firearms and all the odds and ends one will see at such a place.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your cat Marshel54. It’s never easy to lose a pet, but we are always better for having had them. I’m sure Onyx had a great life.

Vacation over. Back to the normal routine. We received about 2.5-3 inches of snow. You hoarders have a good day.
