    Similar here with up to 60 mph gusts.

    Sometime this afternoon one of our pine trees broke right above the ground and it fell into the lawn. That sucks, but it didn't take out any power or wreck anything. Now I need to find my sharp chains for the dolkita... If I don't cut it up tomorrow, I will sometime in the next couple of days. Not like needed any more to do..... Lots of branches to take care of on this tree. Grrrr

    Well, you'll get a nice winter fire out of it once you get some snow, no?

    We didn't have those kind of gusts here but they may have had them out at the lake! That's too windy!

    Yeah, those branches will make some nice flames in the burn barrel. The trunk will be firewood for probably next winter. I think it's a good 10" diameter tree, so there's a little bit of wood to add to the stacks.
