Not much different than him poking fun at him being from Canada. You missed the Polish thread years ago, many of them here too, we actually had the best ones and everybody got a chuckle :) All humor, no offense intended. And blonde jokes are always funny too.

Why its the third week of November, and we’ve already used three snow days for the school year:picard:.
My driveway is officially closed unless you have hockey skates or studded snow tires. It was raining at 22°. It pretty much turned ice, the season has started.

We just found out our sears is finally closing. I have a lot of sears craftsman sockets, ratchets and wrenches and other tools that got us through hard times finically when we where younger and I had to keep things going and vehicles running. Its sad there isn't anywhere around us that I can go to and walk around and dream anymore. stupid reason I know... Nobody compares to what sears had until recent years. Plus now I can't walk in to replace the majority of the craftsman stuff. It's rare that we need to but it happened on occasion when a 10' cheater bar was needed on a 3/8" socket or some other stupidity occurred. :whistle:

Your all guilty admit it:rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Right where I want to be.
Both stores anywhere near us (Gaylord and Alpena) closed not too long ago.
I have a few wrenches, etc. from years ago.......decades for some of 'em...
Sad to see, as they're well made, except the one screwdriver that's been twisted along the shank for years. I honestly have no clue how I did that. :picard:
Had one 3/8" ratchet that quit ratchet-ing that got replaced a couple years ago. They had a box of 'em under the counter. o_O
Yep. I broke down a few years ago and bought a small set of sockets with a ratchet from the big orange box. :hair::rofl:

I thought I heard somewhere that the tools can be exchanged thru Lowe's, who supposedly bought out the Sears Craftsmen Tool Division.

Could very well be rotti. They can be bought there, If memory serves, and also Ace hardware sells craftsman stuff.
    Does Lowe's own Ace?

Only if they have it in stock which they do not. Sears purchased the rights from Stanley to continue manufacturing their line of craftsman tools for 15 years and use the name however Stanley purchased craftsman from sears and is making their line separate. Stanley / craftsman tools are much nicer and Stanley is currently in the process of bringing craftsman back to the USA for production. Some of it already is.

That all means we have to exchange at a sears or mail in order:( for all the sears tools I have. Then when sears finally goes under we will have to hope that Stanley honors those tools via mail in return.

They rebuilt them in store to warranty out. My buddy used to do that for the flint store.
