    Got 2 big hangers out of a trees out back today. One in my yard one in the neighbors. 20141014_151241.jpg This Was Mine No Pic Of neighbors. Also got the splitter fixed.

    I am at the point right now, that I truly and utterly HATE modern a/v electronics.

    The new reciever fixed the problem of the TV showing green lines when you first turn it all on. It fixed the problem that the panasonic DVD (BD actually) wouldnt give any signal till it warmed up for 10 minutes.

    But now the signal from the DVD/BD is flickering with static. Ive tried other sources (no problem), other inputs (problem follows the DVD player), other cables (problem follows the DVD player).

    OMFG#*(&*(&%(#*&$#$#0@#$()@#$)@% Im gonna scream.

    Im now going to have to subject myself to the torture of calling tech support I think.

    And I know Marantz will tell me its panasonics problem and panasonic will say talk to marantz.


    Im about ready to throw the whole mess under a bus.

    I dont envy you, tech support takes alot of patience. Can you bypass the reciever and use the tv speakers?

    I fixed it. Turning off the HDMI deep color option on the player made the flicker go away.


    It all works now !

    We have some warmer weather coming this week, at least through thurs, rain included.
    As much as I like the warmer weather I also like the feel of the stove running with a shoulder load
    around this time of the night during this time of the year. Fingers crossed for next week.

    Micro brew here. Have stock in Sam Adams, love the company and what they do.
    Long Trail was all that was left in the garage (where the beer fridge is). It's on my
    top 10 list :) Enjoy your Rocky Mountain beer
