What do you need it for? Start there

 

I need it for the new company we are being acquired by. They will be giving me $450 per month, plus paying all fuel. I currently drive 25-30K a year, so I need something with a substantial warranty, or I can plan to take a bath on it every few years. Since I'm in it so much, I would like the comforts that I don't have in the current fleet spec cars. Leather, heated seats, heated mirrors etc. I'm thinking either a new Kia Optima EX, which comes with a lifetime powertrain warranty, or CPO Acura ILX, Chevy Malibu / Impala.

Ultimately, I dont NEED it before January 1st, so might wait until the end of the year and see what offers I can find for new models.

 

Work then go to my uncle's 90th birthday party at the VFW, then after party for immediate family back at his house. Korean war infantry man veteran who lives life to the fullest, and no special diets. He eats everything everyone really likes, and still enjoys his bourbon and beer. Great guy and a lot of fun to be around.

 

Get something with a hitch that can pull a trailer!

You are an ambitious man, I would not have plowed, blown or shoveled that, looks like it will be gone in a couple hours.

 

Just do a lot of research on the Kia Hyundai lines. They have a serious engine problem in the design and replacements are always backordered. Could be 3 months to get one. Not sure what engine exactly but it’s a lot of the new cars. Haven’t heard of the problems in the suv lines.

There was an issue with the 4 cylinder engines in the machining process with the engine blocks not being cleaned out properly. My wife had one of the effected engines in her Sorento. It wasnt replaced, but had an issue where parts were needed for an engine repair (timing related) and it took 3 weeks plus to be repaired. She was in a loaner, so NBD. This issue has since been resolved. I would gladly take 3 months in a loaner with the mileage I accrue though!

If you put a loaded trailer on it, the back end might pull off!

 

Luckily, the body isnt a representation of the condition of the frame!
