Well, brother, we're still on the green side of the grass. I'm not retired yet, so there's that. Just taking it one day at a time. Hope you get to feeling better from your cold. I'm dealing with sinus junk, so about the same boat. Happy birthday.

 

Ah, it's good. I'll post up pics in that thread. Corals and the few fish are doing great. No algae issues. I need to add more corals, and at least another fish or two.

That would be great. They are fantastic folks. I don't normally go but a few miles from home, that the GTC is a must for me. Lord willing, I will make it to the next one. In 2018, I met up with Backwoods Savage (Dennis) and with our founder, Scotty Overkill. I met so many other FHC family members. Each unique but everyone honest and always willing to do the right thing. So yes, do come and have a wonderful time. Well Seasoned and his wife, Dawn, are the gracious hosts.

 

I think this $900 Drolet Escape 1800 was money well spent
Been burning daily for over a week now and those blue flames coming off the tubes are mesmerizing

I am amazed at the heat this thing throws but my wood is very very dry
can’t even compare it to my old basement smoke dragon we used for 15 years

 

We went to our first GTG at Dennis's this year, met a lot of great folks. Enjoyed seeing the upper Midwest.

 

Nice to see another Drolet owner. We have the Blackcomb model. Yes sir, it makes some beautiful flames.

He turned 6 today. My how time flys. It seems like I was just holding in my arms a few years ago, not 5 it 6.

 

I'm still trying to adjust to daylight savings. Horrible week to be fighting sleep issues. I've been working with my boss' and the management team for the new company traveling all over meeting with customers. Luckily, I only had one night in a hotel, unlike them being in one all week.

A relaxing weekend cant come soon enough! Though, I already have two nights away next week too.

 

Happy Birthday to you as well. I know what you are saying about the sinuses. Been dealing with that myself past couple months. Feel better.
