It's in the mid to upper 30's today and alternating rain, sleet, snow, and probably something else. It's kinda crappy out really.

Doing inside work today. a lot of it is sitting here watching football and enjoying the fire.

Son’s team won the game! Close one. 1-0 in sudden death overtime. They should of probably had 2-3 more goals. Dominated control of the ball most of the game. Had the ball on their half of the field almost the whole game. But their fullbacks kept breaking up our shots. Onto the Championship game in a few more nights! :dex:

I believe not from what I've heard from Montanans on forums. I know whatever trucks I window shop there are always good and solid

Nice work there. I have the same stove and do touch ups on the top. Solidly built stoves.

We have been busy getting the house and yard ready for my son's birthday party the last few weeks. It was yesterday. I pulled the pontoon and my stuff out of my boat shed so we could set the tables up underneath it. We had everything set up but due to the rain from condensation under sheds I told my wife better not put up the table covers and stuff. So we woke up at daybreak yesterday to finish the decorations. I looked over in the gravel drive and said what's all that water from?? I said I hope someone left the hose on (it has several leaky splices in it), which I didn't think was the case . Went over to see, nope it was off. I was hoping the other spigot on the other side of the carport was busted or leaking as I went that way the concrete wasn't wet and the water path didn't make sense for that to be, plus it was dry over there. This water was flowing. Looked to have been on the surface for less than a few hours and the progression of the water down the slight hill. My suspension was confirmed. A crack in the concrete was leaking and water was coming out from under the slab. Great I have another water leak under my slab the morning or my son's back yard party, with water flowing toward the yard to make a path muddy. But I had no time to deal with it had to help keep setting up for the party.

My house is mostly on a crawl space but the whole back end had a porch and an addition on a slab with the carport behind that. The supply line goes under that to the house into the crawl space . While prepping for the party and during it I figured out my plan for after. The water line is on the other side of an asphalt/gravel drive and it will have to be cut no matter which way I go. No time this weekend not tools for that now. So I had to go to Lowe's and get a 100' hose and connect it with spigot connections in the junction box that I left from my water leak along the drive not three months ago and then run it into the porch and under my house and make a connection to my supply line there for the other end of the garden hose.

Now I need to order a blade for our rescue saw from the fire department and will use it to cut a section out of my drive to install a new supply line, where I will trench under my foundation into the crawl space and eliminate the part under the slab, which will be just left and be a dead line.
