Waiting for snow overnight to melt so I can collect some garden/compost grass/leaves with the bagger mower. The only thing I don't like about my Honda mowers is that they are a little harder to start this time of year, but it will get done.

Busy morning. Got up and made a big pot of soup for dinner, installed a new push rod in my BILs mower, cut down a few trees for my MIL. About to eat some lunch.

Moved the snowblower from the storage shed to the garage after a test run/operation. All good!

Also grabbed the shovels and did the deck, sidewalk and driveway.

Snow is not going to melt today so I will fire up my snowblower and get it in position as well, and also pull down the shovels.

I’ve been mowing grass off and on for the last four hours. Another hour or so and then both mowers can go to back of the detached garage behind the four wheelers for the winter.

Getting my bay in the garage cleaned out to make room for the truck. This will be all done by the end of the day.

Son’s soccer game tonight under the lights on a turf field. Semi-finals. His team is undefeated in league games this year. Will be interesting to see how good the other team is and how our coach plays his players.

Thanks go out to Marvin, yooperdave and Gasifier. Not sure how many more years before older than water though. Sometimes I do feel that it is here already.

About the only decision they have made that makes any sense. Would be nice if they fessed up to the $600 bill they sent me in Jan. two years back after they change over to the smart meters. As far as they are concerned, I used that amount and that is all there is to say about it.

The inch or so we got here hasn't melted either. But then, remember that the ground has had plenty time to cool down in advance of this little bit of snow.

You betcha! Should be able to get the portable spear shack out early this year...maybe right after deer season.

I like a good 6" before I employ the 4-wheeler to pull out the permanent, which is usually the first or second week of December.

A great time of year for sure; October through the winter in our great lakes region!

Good weather here today, cool and sunny.

Figured I'd split some as the ground bees should be napping.

Got a load split, then where to put it? The bins I made are full. So I start organizing them.
    :loco:

Figured if I'm gonna handle the wood, might as well stack it.
    I dislike stacking.

    So, there's this.

White paint on T-posts is 4' from pallets.

Around 1/2 cord, will likely finish the rest tomorrow, then split some more.
