The small ash I have to drop is about 8" dbh too. I'll probably pull on it with my ariens GT to make sure it stays off the shrub fence. The next one is bigger, but not too big, just have to keep it out of the honey locust, the same shrub fence, and a silver maple. The second biggest ash it's pretty big. Probably 24" dbh? That one I can pull/drop into the yard and it won't hurt anything except make divots in the lawn.

The big one, problem tree, closest to the house, I can't even bear hug and get my hands to touch. Gotta be close to 30" dbh.

Got all the wood inside this past weekend. Nothing we havent heard before but Grandfather is more insistent than ever it'll have to be the last year for wood. No doubt he's finding his age, but he also had a dispute with great uncle randy. Probably won't want to ask randy to cut any, or afraid, possibly correctly, that he'll refuse.

Watched a couple ships go out with mom this evening. Chilly windy night out there.

I think we are up to 5 democrats either in the house or senate that have died in the past couple of weeks. Thoughts to their families.

Love all the colours of the houses. Our town has a lot of greys and browns.

Probably take a skip back down to the cottage and empty some more food from the fridge freezer today.

Looks like colder overnights on the way along with some sloppy white stuff. I'll have to disconnect the p-traps on the sinks and anti freeze the toilet. I was hoping to get in a night here and there, but now I don't think it'll happen.

That pic with the white topped cruise ship with the two brown looking rectangle buildings to the left. Are those parking garages right on the water front??

Here's an old advertising slogan that'll have you guessing what it's for. Resist the temptation to "google" the answer.

"small wonder and relieves gas pains"

I would say one definitely is, the farthest one to the left may be an office building connected to the garage??

Only reason I ask is that seems like a waste or mis use of water front property. An awfully expensive lot to build a parking garage:loco:
