Ha! That's exactly the first thing WWW said. Except I instead of 50-75K miles I year I drive 5K max. And you don't even want to know what my Blazer gets per gallon o_O

    Any clue on year?

Guy I know really likes his-really a lot! mpg no higher than 20.

Him and his wife took a summer off and headed west for over a month and just stayed in the back of the FJ. He said a queen mattress fits in the back end perfectly. And yeah, not so good on mpg.

Locally, looks like lower mileage units (lower being 100,000) are asking 18,500 and higher mileage units (up to 185,000) asking as low as 8,000.

FJ Cruisers are awesome. Essentially a shorter 4runner, and no v8 option, unlike what the 4runner offered , well for at least a number of years. The 4.0 v6 is solid, body on frame. Real SUV.

Also, they go for stupid money, partially because they are not made anymore. Also because it's essentially a shorter 4runner which also go for stupid money on the used market. For reference, we could get about twice the amount of money for our 04 v8 4runner that was 33k new, compared to what I got for my 04 v8 Audi allroad that stickered for over 50k when new.

I see a lot higher prices than that. Upper 20's to low 30k for ones with less than 80k on them.

There is auction preview at 11 am on Cruiser, I'll go over and see to find the year/mileage etc. Then toodle back here for wifi to check it out some more. The quick google I did the prices vary wildly, but thanks for letting me know the year range Horkn . Always like the look of those.

The Chris Craft reminded me of you and your Natique, looks totally restored. Public Auction - Petersen Auction Service

I'd really like to post about the awesome day I had at work...but I can't.....because I didnt have one.

The rube goldberg device I'm responsible for installing is killing me. At one point today I had $4M worth of new gear not working all at the same time.

The Chris Craft is a whole lot newer than my Nautique. Like 30 years newer.;)

Looks like the FJ cruiser needs a rear glass replacement, and rear passenger bumper cap. There's a little dent in the tailgate ( upper right) but that wouldn't be hard to fix or ignore.;).

~$150 for a replacement used rear glass hatch that can be done at home
And the bumper cap is $80 for a new looking used one
