    Horkn well should have a tag on it saying How Deep The Well is and the number. You can pretty much be assured the pump is 80% of the way to the bottom

    Mines on the cap, 6 inch steel pipe coming out of ground.. Aluminum tag pop riveted to cap. 1986 and later, before then, was on dog style tag on pipe..

    I'm buying a switch, even if it's a spare for later. Who knows, maybe the switch went again? The square D used to be made in the USA, but last one I installed was made in Mexico. I don't think they make them like they used to.

    Wish me luck when I get home. I'll need it.

    80* yesterday, then Mother Nature blessed us with our first freeze last night. Pictured is my drive in to work this morning. All my trees are still green. Im just sitting in my office wondering how many branches broke.
    Sunny and 50 tomorrow.

    Not Ready for Winter! Cold here, snow on ground. Also relieved, had too many windows open at once, clicked back on FHC and it said my IP address was blocked "banned", thought my IP thing was spoofed and did bad stuff here :hair:. Guess is was a computer fart

    Checked on my phone and I was OK from there...restarted my 'puter and its fine now...whew! :rofl: :lol:
