    Finally finished the replacement of ceramics and the blanket that goes under them in my Wood Gun boiler. Now I need to wait at least eight hours for that to dry before I have my first fire. The troweleze went in just before noon so I think I’ll wait until tomorrow.

    Now I’ll get outside and start moving some firewood in under the porch. I have 1/2 a face cord of Ash in the basement already to start warming the house with this weekend. :fire:

    That'll be pretty much what I'll be doing after I mow the grass, errr field. Back in Wisconsin. Beer wagon is full. Only 2 counties away from home. Wife's driving Moby, the big white whale F-150.

    I'm going back and forth between taking a ride to Molly's house to pick up a load of wood she put out before leaving for Walts, and getting drunk. After the stress of the past 24 hours, I'm leaning towards getting drunk.

    Did a little picking up of some walnut a couple days ago. But, I don't think I'll be going back because it's surrounded by poison ivy and I'm just now getting over the last dose from this place.

    But, I started a "quick and dirty" rack today. I'll do a stack in the front and put my shorts and gnarlies behind that.

    Other than that, I'm just going to put the splitting maul to use tonight, since we are having leftovers tonight. [​IMG][​IMG]

    I think I found one yesterday that was all brown. It was tiny. Was found in my tub so caught it and released it outside.
