On our way to Jackson NH. This is in Kensington NH at the Farm at Eastmans Corner. An artist welded together a working horse.

Yesterday I ended up not getting home till abuot 10:30. Our all day flying get togethre was great fun. We had breakfast at a bagel shop around 9, hung out at the airfield till 6pm then went out to the Pub for dinner and beers after. I got to see one of my old buddies who Ive not seen in a few years which was nice.

The CSX train went by twice and at one point stopped so my friend got hte idea to act like kids and flatten a bunch of pennies on the rail.

I think there was 6 or 7 of us there from breakfast through till dinner, but others came and went and at one point there was 12-15 guys out, which is a huge crowd for a workday.

My friend Raja is the national champion of autorotation (unpowered heli landings). He goes up to 500 feet, kills the engine and then glides it down - usually doing aerobatics on the way, and can hit a spot to the inch.

Cool stuff right there Jeremy. Well I'm working 12 hours today but it is raining all day anyway so no biggie. I think the kids soccer games may get cancelled today. Although these coaches are pretty dedicated. LOL

Dug sweet taters out of the mud and installed AC return cover. Soccer and dinner at the parents later on today.

The MRI on my head came back negative for anything abnormal causing my hearing loss to be uneven. (As I suspected). So now it I have an appointment with the audiologist on Monday to see if a hearing aid can level things off and according to the Dr. it can even reduce the the tinnitus in my right ear. I never knew that might be possible and have been living with the tinnitus for 15 years. If it can help I will kick myself in the arse for not doing something sooner.

Otherwise boys and girls, wear your hearing protection every chance you get because hearing loss and tinnitus really suck.

Used to do that with Amtrak trains. They were considerably harder to find after being rolled flat by a train going at 70.
