I just broke out the propelled push mower, because I bent a blade on the riding mower. Got halfway done with the front yard when I noticed my daughter sitting on the swings looking bored. Gave up on the mowing and gave her a push.

The lawn can be done another time.

I think that might be what she said

Hey, it's free. Just roughly an hours labor a piece.

Miss the crowbar, hit left hand, many times. Yesterday, hammer came back into my lower lip, pain in the gums. Today the bar came back and slashed my nose, and dropped a heavier board on my toe.

Now that's the one part of me that hasn't been particularly bad. I've been at it steady for 2 weeks now

Yes, that is the forecast but also for the storm to lose a lot of power before it gets too close to land; a blessing for sure.

It is amazing that every day now we can see more leaves turning color. Some overnight. More yellows showing now too.

At the moment my new place in Lake Wales Florida is looking to be safe. However, if this monster jogs left toward West Palm Beach me and a lot of folks are in for a world of hurt. Best case scenario is if it’s stays about 50 miles off shore and grazes Florida. By the time it hits the coast of Georgia and the Carolinas it will weaken from the cooler waters. Lives are what matter here. Stuff can be rebuilt and replaced. I would love to see it turn northeast out to sea and slowly dissipate.

Whoa, 90* inside and outside. Low Rh. Won't be surprised to hear of some wildfires in Colorado soon, this weather combined with all the campers and hikers etc. on the holiday weekend.
