I kinda forgot about the Dynatrap over the weekend till now. It's been a little over a week since I plugged it in. The basket was plum full. I forgot my phone inside for a picture . Still very many mosquitoes in the yard. But it does say on the box it takes a few weeks to notice a difference.

What size unit did you buy? The one I have only needs to be emptied twice a season, typically.

Yes, it takes a few weeks for them to be really effective, but every one you see in the basket is one that can't bite anymore.

Yeah a few weeks ago, I think a week before the 4th. Those hoses were needing replacement. Raw water pump impeller replaced, but the belts you see, and the big hoses that come off of the water circulating pump. 20190629_160102_HDR.jpg

Unless you meant the oil drip from the valve cover grommet. I just put the non baffled one on and kept it under 2500 rpm. A moroso baffled grommet is on the way from Amazon this week. The mr gasket brand one is crap on stamped steel valve covers. Maybe on an aluminum VC it would work, but the grommet is super loose on my VC's I have now. If this doesn't do it, I'm buying baffled valve covers. It's just a little puff of oil smell once in a while with the non baffled grommet I'm running now, so it's not a big deal, it's just mildly annoying.

I actually walked to a few places at night in Cleveland with 4 friends. The US Coast Guard had an engineering confrence there I had to attend and ate at the House of Blues. Funny part of this story, a guy pan handling for $$$. walked up to us, wearing "new Nikes and a gold chain" around his neck and said; Hey man, gimme 5 bucks dude! I turned and laughed and said, what??? you don't want change or a buck, he said, I can't by a six pack with a buck!!!  At least he was an honest beggar.:picard:
