Only problem I can see with those is that there are so many different breeds of skeeters and they hatch at different times. In addition, the eggs can last for as long as you can and not all get hatched every year. Some are claimed to hatch only about once every 10 years or more so if we're counting on sterile bugs, it could take a long, long time to get all of them. I hope it works well for you.

5 minutes. Have you changed the pad? Double checked to make sure it was lit? I've had them go out a few times but re-light and all is well. I've never had one fail to keep the skeeters at bay but did have one that quit giving enough heat to work so just trashed that and bought a new one. I think we have another old one that is about ready to give up. For sure I would not be without one around here.

I fondly remember a few years ago when I walked around a woodlot with another fellow. I had the thermacell and had taken another one for him to use. Naw. He really liked the spray. During our walk he re-sprayed himself twice and was constantly swatting. I hardly knew there were skeeters around me even when walking.

Doesn't matter how thick they are; they will keep them away from you. Just make sure you change the pads. When they are not blue any more, change them.

I would suggest giving it your best shot to stay clear of that lady. Accept that you can no longer help and then forget about it.

Another beautiful day here! Great sleeping weather again last night. We had the air conditioner on for 4 or 5 hours yesterday but turned it off before hitting the sack. Don't think we'll need it today again that I really like.

I think I'll try moving it to the woodshed for a while. That's only about 13' from the porch, but it might help a bit.
I was right about it needing to be blown out again today. Almost completely full from yesterday afternoon until this morning at about 8.
On another note, while I was out at the woodstacks yesterday doing some SS, I ended up with 2 tick bastages on me. First one was in the webbing between my l/h pointing finger and the middle one. 2nd one was on my sock down in my shoe by my ankle.

I haven't changed the pad yet. It was still plenty blue, as it only had about an hour of use the first time when it definitely worked. It was lit too, dark out so I could see the glow.

I would say exactly what Brandon said. I am no drug or drug symptom expert but sounds exactly like what is going on. Some people do have bad teeth and can not afford dental care, but from your description it sounds like she is on meth. Those actions, needy and clingy are for you to start giving her stuff or your husband to give her money.

Thank You. I will. Obviously I was attempting rationalizing the teeth, living situation, financial troubles, I appreciate you telling me outloud. Thank you for your insight Brandon Scott and Moparguy . Sadly, check, check, and check on several things you two mentioned, and yes, I did shell out $30 so her kid could go on the rides too.

I am an idiot Clems, thanks for pointing that out, crystal clear the way you explained it.

Sorry for the confusion Dennis, I was referring to the Spartan kit that sterilizes the females, not the thermacell.

Heck, that could be used against a stampeding hoard of zombies.

After a brief reconsideration......are zombies capable of stampeding?
Maybe a shuffling hoard of zombies.........perhaps smoking cigars.

Just set up the deck gun with a fog nozzel on it. And just let it point up and pump. Be just like a huge downpour
